About SS-31
SS-31, also known as elamipretide or MTP-131, is a cell-permeable Szeto-Schiller tetrapeptide (D-Arg-Dmt-Lys-Phe-NH2) that concentrates in the inner mitochondrial membrane and binds cardiolipin.
