About ARA 290
ARA 290 (cibinetide) is a synthetic linear 11-amino-acid peptide designed to mimic the helix-B surface of erythropoietin (EPO). It carries an N-terminal pyroglutamate and binds the innate repair receptor — a heteromeric complex of the EPO receptor and the β-common receptor (CD131) — without activating the classical homodimeric EPO receptor responsible for erythropoiesis.
Researchers use ARA 290 to separate the tissue-protective signalling of EPO from its haematopoietic effects in cell and pre-clinical models of inflammation, nerve injury and tissue repair. Port Peptides ARA 290 will be supplied at 16mg as a lyophilised research peptide.
Research applications
- Innate repair receptor (EPOR / CD131) signalling assays
- Tissue-protection and anti-inflammatory cell models
- Small-fibre and peripheral nerve research models
- Comparison studies with full-length EPO
Mechanism studied
Selective innate repair receptor agonist studied for tissue-protective and anti-inflammatory signalling without erythropoietic activity in laboratory models.
Also known as: Cibinetide, pHBSP, pyroglutamate helix B surface peptide, CAS 1208243-50-8.

ARA 290 FAQ
When will ARA 290 be available?
ARA 290 16mg is coming soon. Register your interest by WhatsApp or email to be notified first.
Is ARA 290 the same as erythropoietin?
No. ARA 290 is an 11-amino-acid fragment modelled on the helix-B surface of EPO. It is studied because it engages the innate repair receptor without stimulating red blood cell production in research models.
Is ARA 290 for human use?
No. It is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research.
How much is UK shipping?
UK shipping is a flat £3.80 and free on orders over £100.
