About DSIP
DSIP (delta sleep-inducing peptide, emideltide) is a naturally occurring nonapeptide first isolated from the cerebral venous blood of rabbits during induced slow-wave sleep. Its sequence is Trp-Ala-Gly-Gly-Asp-Ala-Ser-Gly-Glu.
DSIP is used as a research tool in studies of sleep-architecture regulation, hypothalamic–pituitary stress signalling and neuropeptide modulation. Port Peptides DSIP will be supplied at 10mg as a lyophilised research peptide.
